If You're Waiting for the Right Time… Watch This.
Because you don’t need perfect conditions. Just the right push.
No perfect timing.
No quiet house.
No pristine plan.
But I did it anyway.
A few years ago, I was running my own business.
Clients were happy. The work was steady.
And yet, a quiet question kept showing up:
“Is this really where I belong?”
Then one afternoon, I stumbled across a tiny ad for a Master’s programme.
I wasn’t looking for it. But something in me stirred.
Go on. Try.
So I did.
For three years, I studied:
– After the kids were asleep
– While the laundry whirred in the background
– With a computer perched on my desk and a cup of tea slowly going cold beside me
In the end, I earned an MPhil with distinction.
Not because I needed the title. (Though I’ll admit, it does look impressive in email signatures.)
But because I needed to know I could do hard things - even when life was already full.
So if you’re trying to improve your English while juggling work, meetings and life’s small avalanches - I get it.
You don’t need perfect grammar. Or hours of free time.
You just need the right nudge. And a place to practise.
💬 That’s why I run free Speed Networking sessions.
No pressure. No tests. Just friendly people practising real-world English.
Because fluency isn’t built in silence.
It’s built in small, bold steps.
And sometimes, all you need is one.
